A little about me!!

my favourite time of the day well i should say night lol is about 12-2am as i am the only one awake at home and the house is completely still and quiet… but i am also a morning person i wake up at 6am even if ive been awake most of the night and spring into  you so much for the gorgeous Fae-Bella xxa well oiled morning routine to get my youngest 2 kiddies to schools breakfast club at 8am… by the time we leave i will always have made lunches, loaded dishwasher, loaded washing machine and double dutch braided my daughters hair… once back from school run at 8.15am i am then free to work or chill until i collect them again at 3pm… it was strange at first having no children at home… as a mum of 4 i always had at least one at home with me… but ive now gotten used to the time alone and i actually really enjoy it x

Confessions of a Plannerholic!!!

Hiya and Welcome to my Planning Blog

I am so sorry it has been so long since my last post.... it has been a crazy few months with my Family and also my Health... but as part of my New Year's Resolution to be more organised I feel that Blogging regularly is a big part of that so you will be getting a lot more of my KrazyPlannerGurl ramblings here and on my Facebook Pages too... I will make no apologies for that though as it's part of who I am 😜

Since the last time I was here I have sold a few planners but I have also brought a few (erm ok... a LOT more) I can not help myself I just love them and change from one to another whenever I fancy a change like some pretty ladies would do with their handbags etc... I do not use handbags i do have a few that were gifts but i forget to take them out with me when i go any way so there really isn't much point filling one. But Planners I do need them they are so functional as well as pretty and I love to sit in the local cafe with my planner and a coffee... and do I care about the sometimes odd but mostly curious looks?? No I really don't lol

I seem to have drifted away from what I was going to talk about today oooooops so right back to it.

Confession Time...

Hehehehe I now have 70 planners (mostly filofaxes) and 2 more on there way both from the USA eeeeks. I absolutely love the pretty colours of some and the classic colours of others. I have found the styles I love the most and of course being me I had to get them in various colourways.

Real Leather are my absolute fave and even though I am a vegetarian I know that they will still be made whether I buy them or not - I can tell the difference in the quality of leather vs. PU or similar and I am just not a fann of spending lots of money on something that isn't going to last. My leather ones are gorgeous and smell gorgeous thanks to a leather conditioner I use on them.

Now I know many of my friends and lots of newbie plannerfolks do not understand the need for more than one planner. Or they say 'oh they are pretty but how do you use them all???' well it would be silly to think they are all being used full time as planning tools I wouldnt be able to do that or would need a new planner to keep track of which planner is for which job hehehehe. But the truth is I only use one at a time for day to day planning, I just have many choices for which one i would like to use depending on my mood or the season.

Some of my Planner uses are...

2 A5 planners as sticker binders for my Kawaii Stickers
previous inserts stored in a few for reference
penpal info, penpal tracking and addresses
home improvements planning with swatches and colour charts and ideas of things to buy for the house.
book inventory/reading tracker.
proof of post binder with all my receipts in from post office
Blog planner
Etsy shop
Facebook group sales
HandkraftedbyKerrie business planner
listers gotta list - daily challenge - (and 2 with previous years listers gotta list)
family & school - for all the school moneys/clubs etc in
Home Planner with all my lists of chores for me and kiddies
Meal Planner with grocery lists

The list of uses is endless but I would only ever take 2 or 3 with me if i went out... one for specific purpose (health for doctors trip/shopping... etc etc) my master planner (the one that i would current have all my info/diary in) and my wallet which is a mini filofax used as a wallet.

I have always been addicted to planners and stationery since I was little and I doubt I will ever change... from my first pens and planner (a funfax in the 80's) to the school planner/diary that i adored to a personal one ive always had of some sort, to now the full blown addict... I am just as obsessional with collecting stationery and pens as i am with planners I love love love it all so much. I do not think I would ever actually run out but still I want more lol.

So in order to control my habit I have restricted myself for the new year to only buying planners from my specific wish list (which isnt very big anymore) and my stationery is cut right back to only ONE subscription box each month.... and I chose the best one for me its all floral and pretty each much and full of planner and stationery goodies... it is the beautiful 'Scarlet Lime - The Planner Society' monthly subscription from Christy Tomlinson who is the gorgeous lady who started it all and puts together a box of pure lushness for all the TPS Addicts in her facebook group xx

I had better leave it there for today though. I hope you have enjoyed reading a bit more about me and my planning life... I ramble on and on in person too as many of my poor friends know all too well muhahahaha

Kingfisher Malden Filofax - Sneak Peeks - The Planner Society August Kit

Hiya Planner Peep's how are you all??? Me I'm doing ok! Now. Been having a bit of down-time while I was recovering from a slight relapse of my Mental Illness where I had to have my Medication Increased. But I am Happy to report that all is well now.... Yay!!!!

I have recently moved into my gorgeous Kingfisher Malden Filofax... its so pretty and matches so well with the August 'The Planner Society' kit.

Through September I tried a slightly different week on 2 page layout in my planner and for now I am liking it but I'm not sure how it will work long term so I will try another few months to see. Also through September I have been using my first subscription box from the lush 'The Planner Society' is a nautical theme and I am loving it but I am being a bit frugal with it so that I can use it that much longer by mixing in a few elements from my stash like colour co-ordinating labels, stickers and thin washi tapes.

Here are my weekly pages from September...

Week 1
I have divided the pages down the centre's to have one side for Work/Blog and one for Home/School. I can now clearly see what needs doing and for what so I can prioritise my days

Week 2
I've been trying out a lot of different printable stickers that I have then cut out by hand (i have a Cameo but havent had the time to set it up just yet), I still don't really know what types of stickers/stamps I prefer so I am trying out various as i go and hope to settle on particular types

Week 3

I adore Pens!!! and Washi so theese do take up most of the room on my desk and are the main focus on my pages and planners

and finally Week 4
Last week I slipped back into old habits of quote stickers and alpha stickers. I love to see inspiring positive quotes and words that make me smile. My planner after all is my way of keeping my mental health and anxiety at bay. I have always been obsessed with organising and planning but now I'm being creative in my planning it feels nicer somehow like the brightly coloured pages and stickers change the way I feel. So I am going to be keeping up this planning habit/addiction. Hubby is happy with it too as he has noticed a big difference and he loves that I am more positve and less frustrated. The planner is helping me to focus and where I can't remember things it is like having a back up brain. I read once that if you write things down you are more likely to get them done. Almost like writing it down helps us to commit.

Before I go I wanted to share with you this lovely picture I found online it has such a lovely statement that I think more of us Girls should read and Remember xx

Anyhow thats enough of my ramblings today. I will be back tomorrow with more sneak peek's into the world of the KraftyPlannerGurl!!!

New Stamp Storage Solution - at last

Hiya and Welcome to my Blog

Over the last few days I have been having a huge sort our and reorganize mission in my Kraft/Planning Korner and the rest of my Kraft/Bedroom

I dont have a lot of space but have managed to utilize every bit of available space with some clever storage solutions but I have never really addressed my stamp storage issues - Way too many stamps in way too many boxes - which takes an age to sort through every time I need to use a certain stamp or stamp set so I thought I need to start a proper storage system for them - I can up with the solution - Ring Binders, I have started out with 6 for stamps I got them from my local Poundland Store so didnt spend too much, I also brought a pack of 50 laminating sheets from Lidl for £2.49. I had everything else I needed in my stash so i only paid £8.59 for all the storage I have created whilst also using up some of my stash (which is something else I need to do...use what I have)

I added some info to packing labels to attach to the side so I can easily grab the right binder each time I need them.

I cut and stuck all the clear stamp backing sheets to white A4 cardstock, I then laminated them and stuck the stamps to each sheet with the corresponding pictures on, I then put a piece of A4 acetate over the stamps and used a hole punch, to punch though both layers and added to the binder
This was very time consuming but I think it will be worth the time spent with how much easier it will to find the right stamps

Here are a few pics from the insides of the Binders

first 6 pics are of my 3 Planner Stamp Binders - yeah 3 full folders full of planner stamps
(obsessed much?)

This last pic is from one of my Bee Crafty Stamp binder's to show I have now decided to sort all my other stamp sets
(this will take a lot of time and a lot more binders)

I thank you for visiting my blog where I talk about random Kraft/Plan related things, please come back soon as I will be writing more regular posts from now on

Confessions of A Krafty-Planner- Addict #1

Hiya and welcome to my Blog

This weekend I have been having a massive tidy/clear out/organisation of my krafty-planner korner and it has been a real eye opener to the sheer volume of krafty-planner stash I actually own

Yesterday on my Facebook Wall I shared pics of most of my Washi Stash (not all as I have a load more for my esty shop - just not listed yet - ooops) and it got me thinking maybe I should do a few posts on this Blog to confess my sins muhahaha not that I even care that I have way too much stuff - neither really does my hubby he just rolls his eyes at me and says 'babe thats obsene' but thats it as he isnt too worried at all

please do send a friend request if you want to have a looksie at what else I get up in my krazy kraft planner world xx

So here are a few pics of my immense Pen/Pencil Stash - im sure there are more somewhere - plus I have a full box of etsy shop stock pens too

I did try to get a photo of the whole lot but you cant really see much of whats there except to see there is a lot so below are a few close ups of them

This pic above shows my Copic Sketch markers (1 set of 72 left to buy) and my artist colouring pencils

The Kakhi Kipling case, mint case and the Orla Kiely live on my desk all the time with my most used pens in - the other pens and cases are pulled out from cupboards just to show them

This pic shows my pen carosel that lives on my desk with all my fave fineliners/frixions etc in, also a draw full of spare sakura's and my distress markers - plus quite a few other case full of sakura pens, spare fineliners, sharpies etc

This pic and the one below arre just closer pics to show better the sakura's and the pets full of my kawaii pens colllected from ebay and etsy

This last pic is just to show how nearly full my pencil box is

I think you can safely say I am a completely obsessed stationery addict - some might think I need to cured of this addiction but I say NO!!! I'm not hurting anyone, myself included - if i look back at past unhealthy addictions like alcohol and smoking this is a much better thing to be addicted to and they are pretty too - I love my pens and use them every day wether writing, drawing, planning or crafting so I know they are really a good investment

I recommend bulk buying and hunting on eBay, Amazon, Etsy etc for some bargains - I always price check everything and go for the best deal I can find - Sometimes this means buying full sets/bulks of same pens to get the best deals - I share with my children as they all love pens/pencils too - I add some to my sales and online shops if I find I have way too many - but overall I just love them - I love looking at them, using them and rearranging them - yes its a complete obseesion - I do confess to that

Thank You so much for stopping by today to have a loosie at my Pen Stash and to read the ramblings of a Stationery Hoarder/Junkie lol

Half Term Tuesday with Kezzla!!!

Hiya and Welcome to my Blog - it's Half Term which means I am home with all 4 of my Lovely Children and we have been Busy Little Bee's so far!!

Yesterday was Room Sort Through Day!! we do this every half term, going through all our stuff and filling Charity Bags with anything we have that we no longer need - so far so good with 5 full bags from just the 2Girls-Ashleigh&reBecca's-Room and my eldest Son William'sRoom - Ethan the cheeky Little Monkey and is continuing with his today. (we donate monthly to our local St Clares Hospice Shop) xx

For Me the plan today is to carry on with the declutter of my Craft/Planning Korner/Bedroom. Im making the space a lot more easy to use with things I use daily closer to me and anything I have used for a while sorted into stash to keep or stash to sell/donate. I feel like the Clearing Out is helping me to focus more on the New Year/ New Me mantra that I started the year with and that I hope to continue with.

So far it's all looking really good and a lot neater than it was but I still have this little lot on my Bed to find homes for and then on to the draw units in mine and hubby's wardrobes

The Pen Carousel Organizer is going back on my desk so I can use all my pretty coloured pens in my planners

I do love to give my Korner a good sort through every 2 months or so, then I know I only have the things I need to keep but I also can then see what I need more of for my Cardmaking as well as my planner's. The main reason for this massive clean up this time though is to get ready for my Esty Store opening which will be in a few months once I have had the time to sit and make all the crafty/planner things I would love to sell... as in Flower Embellishments, Planner Mystery Bags, Planner Clips, Stickers and lots of other Cute Little Things... I will also be listing several different styles of Handkrafted Cards and Gifts - I will update you all when I get closer to this Goal x x

Right that's enough of my Rambling for one Post - will leave you all while I get back to Operation Organised House!!!

Hope to see you all Back Again soon
